The role of technology in my lifeʕ•ᴥ•oʔ

Although technology has always been present throughout my life, I feel a kind of denial about it, because I feel that technology is absorbing us all, many times (or almost always) we wake up watching social networks, seeing what others do and what we often receive only bad energy and anxiety from this, also we go to bed with this routine that does not do anyone any good, even makes us sleep badly. In fact, I once read an article that recommended leaving the screens at least one hour before going to sleep, and also, when getting up, not to use the mobile phone at least one hour later.

To be honest, I've had a hard time giving up this kind of habits, because one is always connected, whether it's for personal or university purposes, or just to keep in touch with family and friends, especially in times of pandemic. In all these cases, my favourite technological object is my video game console, as I don't have so much internet contact with more people when playing games, I feel I can disconnect from other people's lives in a simple way. However, if given the opportunity to disconnect from others, I would choose something other than a games console or mobile phone, I prefer to read or draw, as I do before I go to sleep.

I feel that technology helps us to be connected, to live experiences that we can't live right now, for example, it helps me to have contact with the wide world of art, it helps me with my homework, to be connected to my classes, and obviously it's very useful, but you should never abuse things (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡

The best holidays(⋈・◡・)✰

 Salvador de Bahía🌊🏝

The best holiday I ever had was in February 2020, before the pandemic started in Chile. We went to Brazil, specifically Salvador de Bahia, and stayed in a house that was just a few steps from the beach. We spent nine days with my family and my aunt and uncle and their children enjoying the warm waters on the various beaches there.
Although we spent most of our time at the beach, we also liked to go to various restaurants in the area, which had typical food of the country.

One day we decided to go to the Pelourinho, which is the historical area of Salvador, where there are several churches, such as the convent and church of São Francisco, as well as several monuments, such as the Monumento Cruz Caída (Fallen Cross Monument).

A curious fact about the Pelourinho is that twelve years ago Michael Jackson filmed the music video "They Don't Care About Us" in this place, therefore, many tourists go to visit the iconic balcony that appears in the video.
It was one of the best holidays as the culture of the place is wonderful, plus the people are very friendly and always tried to help us with everything, even though we didn't speak Portuguese very well. Another reason why I would come back to this place is that the landscapes are very beautiful and the beaches are wonderful. The only bad thing is that the insects were very big hahaha.

Italy(✿╹◡╹)

Since I was very young, I always found this country interesting. I was struck by how beautiful it is and I think the language is wonderful. There are many places that seem to come out of a book or a fairy tale, and I always found it curious that the country is shaped like a boot, it's very funny.

I think there are many reasons to visit this beautiful country, for example, their monuments, museums, cities and islands. One of the most visited monuments and the most famous is the Colosseum, the largest amphitheatre in the world which was built in the heart of Ancient Rome.

Also, one of the most recommended places to visit in Italy is Venice, a unique city that is built on a lagoon surrounded by the Adriatic Sea. And if you like fashion, Milan is the second most populated city in Italy, it has the look and feel of a modern city with huge skyscrapers, glass and metal buildings and department stores, being considered "the city of fashion".

Personally, I would like to travel a large part of the country if I could, see museums and learn a lot about art and culture, meeting people and sharing experiences. And why not, also to spread my art along my journey.

I just hope one day to be able to travel around this country and many more (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧

Postgraduates Studies(*^▽^*)

Lately I've been thinking about doing a graduate study of visual arts, but maybe focusing on some specialty I'm going to take later...
